"Talking to my family is important and matters to me"

About: Locked & Specialist Rehab / Spencer North

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

I like to have contact with my family. This is very important to me. I can use the telephone and write letters anytime. I was able to Skype my family on Sitwell ward but not yet on Spencer North. I think they are sorting this out. It is better to see my family as well as talk to them.

It is nice to hear how important family are to you, I'm very sorry you are not able to use Skype on your ward yet, I will ensure a change takes place and you will be able to Skype your family.

We see the importance of patients contacting their family, so I will ensure this change happens within the next week.

The ward has now ensured that Skype is accessible for all patients going forward and I hope you enjoy your skyping with your family in the future.
