Community matron service is excellent. Their timely advice has kept my child who has profound complex needs out of hospital on many occasions. They are always helpfully and personable. I wish they were available at weekends as then I have to take my child into A and E for advice.
Castle Rock Group do not answer the phone, often do not rota staff in for shifts; do not have enough staff to cover shifts; staff seem not to be appropriately trained and staff are repeatedly asked to work day shifts after doing a night shift. By way of contrast, Interserve provide excellent Home care services. They answer the phone, train staff well, check equipment is maintained, have an appropriate number of staff and are professional to deal with.
My child's Emergency care plan held by Social Services is not readily available and therefore rendered useless.
