"Great work of health care profession"

About: Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh at Little France / Accident & Emergency Scottish Ambulance Service / Emergency Ambulance

(as the patient),

After experiencing chest pains and difficulty breathing at work the paramedics were called they were amazing and took time to take some tests and talk to me always making sure I was comfortable, they were excellent. Being around Christmas I was especially grateful since it is such a busy time for them.

When reaching the hospital I was still grateful for the treatment I received however, I felt rushed and like I was not really wanted there. I understand it was busy, and was possibly just a bad time. However extremely grateful for all those that helped and those that give up time to make sure everyone has a safe and healthy Christmas.

Thank you very much for sharing your experiences with us and l was so sorry to hear that you had chest pain and difficulty breathing whilst at work. I was really pleased to hear how the paramedics were able to look after you.

I have passed your feedback onto the team at Accident and Emergency Dept of the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh and ask them to reflect on your experiences as I was really sorry to hear how you felt you were rushed by them when you attended for treatment.

I hope you are now feeling better and best wishes for 2017.
