"A really positive experience"

About: Northumbria Specialist Emergency Care Hospital

(as the patient),

I was admitted to the Northumbria Specialist Emergency Care Hospital , shortly after it opened. It's stayed with me as a really positive experience, or at least as positive as a hospital stay could ever be!

It's the first and (so far) only time I've had an overnight stay in hospital, and I hadn't expected it so didn't have anything with me, but staff did everything they could to reassure me and make sure I had everything I needed.

Facilities and the meals were great, and I'm now doing a lot better and am being treated as an outpatient at a different hospital.
