Recently my friend and I visit the UTC at Crawley hospital as she suffered pain in her lower tummy for the past 2 days. A really nice doctor examine my friend and she told it might be appendix therefore she made a call to SAU at ESH. From the SAU department ask us to on following morning and so we were there at 8. 00 am. The nurse made urine and blood samples and a doctor made a physical examination to my friend. My friend was actually feeling better than the night before but still had the damm pain in her tummy.
After 5 hours waiting a nurse call us and said we can go home as everything looks fine? ! I asked why doctor didn't come to explain the test results and was told nothing to explain as all is good. Go home and take regular pain killers. Drink a lot of liquids! ....... I really hope my friend would be better soon but however I am still wondering how is possible to send someone home without final consultation with a doctor! I feel this is unacceptable! The doctor should see every patients in person, explain the test results and send her/him home!
