Our daughter has suffered from a cough since forever and we have always been told its not asthma, just a cough due to the weather or perhaps allergies. we've been given allergy medicine, inhalers but still every night her head hits the pillow and she coughs constantly all night.
Today we saw a GP that we haven't seen before and he said "we need to start treating this as asthma, its been going far too long" he showed us exactly how to take the inhaler and explained all the options if this doesn't work very clearly and also made Kimberley feel very comfortable with his little jokes. tonight we followed his advise and its been 3 hours with no coughing.
Thank you for not telling me its only a 10min appointment and there is no time to go into thing with more detail, thank you for making my daughter feel comfortable and that we were in no rush to be pushed out the door. And thank you for giving the time and advise, and for caring enough to help better the situation, instead of just reading the notes and following suit. Thank you.
