My appointment was this week at Opthamology clinic M at the New Victoria Hospital, Glasgow.
I was seen by a male junior doctor, who did give me his name but I've unfortunately forgotten it. He had a very nice, cheerful and open manner with good communication skills. He made me feel that he really cared about my dry eyes and the difficulties they caused me.
Despite having been seen at another hospital where the insertion of a punctal plug in my right eye could not be achieved, this Doctor inserted the punctal plug with ease and I felt no discomfort. His work was overseen by the consultant Mr Bryce.
I was delighted with the care from the junior doctor and appreciated Mr Bryce's care in overseeing his work.
"Pleased with care at the eye clinic"
