"Friendly and cheerful staff in CDU"

About: University Hospital Ayr / General Medicine

(as the patient),

I found out I had a blood clot on my lung came as such a shock I broke down in tears in front of the nurse on cdu ward and I've been at the cdu ward every day to get my blood took to check my irn and injection into my stomach for 16 days now as my irn as been down more than up.

All the nursing staff and doctors have been fantastic. I'd like to say a massive thank you to them all they have made me laugh on days where I've felt down. The nurses are always so friendly and cheerful I really can't say thank you enough and how grateful I am to each and everyone of them.

I will never ever forget what they have done for me. I really do appreciate everything.

What a lovely accolade to the team in CDU. I think it must have been a very scary time for you and your family but it is great that your treatment has gone so well. It was a pleasure passing your post to the team and I am sure they will be delighted with your thanks and praise.
