I have had NRSpa for 14 years now. It is a life limiting condition. I recently been accepted by the NNUH to start my treatment usint anti-TNF treatment. I was due to start any day. I went to the Rheumatology department this morning and have been told, I do not have enough lesions on my spine to qualify for treatment. I think this is disgraceful. I have followed advice, I went threough the qualification criteria, and now this. I am 39 years old and need this treatment. I currently work full time, but it has been becoming more difficult with regards to the pain. I do not want to come to work on a lot of pain medication as I need to concentrate, but not having this treatment, my result in me having more time off of work, or even possible not work at all. I thought it would be in the best interest of everyone that I be a productive working person for as long as I possibly can and not to rely on benefits to get by. I want the Norwich CCG to re-visit my treatment decision.
