"My Husband"

About: Medway Maritime Hospital / Gastroenterology Royal Free Hospital / Gastroenterology

(as a relative),

My partner had chronic liver disease and was in an induced coma in November 2015 the care he received in ICU and Keats ward was amazing and the specialist consultant was fantastic.

The support the nursing staff gave myself was outstanding keeping me up to date throughout his stay and explaining in detail my partners condition and treatment.

We finally got a transfer to the Royal Free Hospital in London in December where he continued his care with the specialist team and finally got a life saving donor in January this year. To say we are so grateful to the staff at Medway for there care and compassion is a big understatement and would recommend the hospital to anyone. Thank you guys for being so kind caring and understanding will never forget what you done for us we now have our lives back.

Thank for your kind words regarding the care received by your partner at Medway. We are delighted that he was able to receive a liver transplant and wish you all the best for the future.
