"The clinical decisions unit were great"

About: University Hospital Ayr / General Medicine

(as the patient),

I was admitted to the cdu at ayr hospital after an accident in which i broke bones in both my feet and incurred a deep cut around my ankle which needed 15 stitches.

It was at the cdu that dr mcquiston discovered a blood clot and infection in my right leg. i owe my subsequent recovery to dr mcquiston and her dedicated staff. they are a hard working, approachable and brilliant team! !

It's been a long haul, but i cannot speak too highly of the cdu at ayr hospital.

I respond initially to most of the posts and ensure they are passed to the appropriate team whether they are compliments, observations or grumbles. It is important to make sure all issues are addressed and I try to encourage that to happen for all the posts as required.

Dear CUBBY T,

Oh how nice to hear. I am sorry you had to go through all of this, but so glad that you came out with this view of your care. I will be very happy to pass this on to the brilliant team so they get the benefit of your experience and kind words.

I hope you are fully recovered now.

Best wishes,

Eunice
