"The ambulance crew were first class"

About: South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust

(as the patient),

My husband tripped and fell over injuring his right shoulder. Initially we did not do anything to treat the shoulder but during the night he was in agony and in the morning I realised the need to for help.

The ambulance crew arrived very quickly, they gave my husband some pain relief and then took him to Southmead Hospital A&E for further checks and treatment.

The ambulance crew were first class, they were very efficient and gave a terrific service.

Hi Eastern 893

Thank you for taking the time to provide our service with feedback. I hope your husband is recovering since his injury.

We would be very happy to share your generous words of thanks with the ambulance staff involved in your husband's care, however to do so we will need a little more specific information. If you are happy to do so please may I ask you to contact our Patient Engagement Team on either 01392 458831 or plaudits@swast.nhs.uk and one of the team will be very pleased to take you through the process for sharing thanks with our staff.

Thank you, again, for taking the time to share your story with us.

Sara
