"Excellent care from ENT consultant and their team"

About: Chorley & South Ribble Hospital

I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer earlier this year and have two lots of surgery resulting in complete thyroid removal - first operation at Chorley and second at Preston. Have received excellent care throughout from my consultant and the team, and indeed from all the staff I came into contact with at both hospitals. I cannot speak highly enough of this consultant (and their team of doctors and specialist nurses). I was a terrified patient but everything was explained to me very clearly and I was reassured at every step of the way. It's not yet two months since my most recent op but thanks to my consultant's careful handiwork, my scar is insignificant and facing fast!
