What could be improved

Staff on duty when I was taken up to maternity ward could have be more helpful and understanding.

I had a truamatic 18 hour labour and had an epidural and stitches. Was taken up to the ward in the middle of the night and was expected to walk from my chair to the bed. I had no feeling in my lower body and could not do this. I asked to use the toilet and was told "can you not walk" asking for a bed pan was met by a tut from the nurse. Asking for assistance seemed to be a real headache to the staff on duty that night! The next day no one came to check on me or the baby! Level of care was poor. As a first time mum I had no support.
