About: Royal Blackburn Hospital

(as the patient),

What I liked

I have noticed that the prevention of MRSA at RBH seems to be falling on deaf ears,I have had to attend the hospital on a number of occasions over this past year and although there are dispensers at the entrance no one seems to use them and to my horror that includes many staff. I would suggest that a more in your face campaign be adopted to highlight the problems.

Maybe a more awareness campaign should be tried using leading personalities from the area ie the number of people walking through the hospital wearing Blackburn shirts, could an approach be made to the club for the new manager and his players be requested to highlight the problem also the young X Factor singer Diana could say thank you to the city for the support she received by lending her support.

People are quick to criticise the hospital if an MRSA instance occurs but seem blind to preventing by using the dispensers and once again a more in house campaign among the staff.
