"How can I get more help with Lymes disease?"

About: Southern General Hospital / General Medicine Vale of Leven General Hospital / General Medicine (Lomond Ward)

(as the patient),

Around five years ago I felt ill, with flu like symptoms. I had Lymes disease, but was not treated in time. I still suffer from terrible pain in my legs spine and joints, like most lyme suffers. I feel abandoned by NHS Scotland who know nothing about this illness. Help?

Dear Mr Mann

Thank you for taking the time and trouble to provide your feedback. We have shared your comments with our Emergency Care and Medical Services colleagues who have asked that in the first instance you contact your GP for a re-referral back to the service.

Once again thank you for using the Patient Opinion feedback system, it is greatly appreciated.

Kind Regards
