"Dressing of a wound at Drumcar"

About: Community Services / Perth Community Treatment & Care (CTAC) team

(as the patient),

Following major surgery at Ninewells in September this year I had a drainage wound that became seriously infected. It was a deep wound and required dressing, initially by district nurses, latterly by nurses at Drumcar. Both sets of nurses were outstanding: highly competent and knowledgable, invariably friendly and caring, clearly very interested in my wound and determined to promote healing. And today my nurse at Drumcar told me that the wound is now completely healed and no longer requires dressing. So, well done the nurses who attended to me in such a professional and kindly manner. Very many thanks.
