"My son who is an alcoholic & drug user"

About: Parent Support Link

(as a parent/guardian),

When My husband & I realised how dependant our son had become we were desperate to find help both for him & ourselves.

We felt so isolated & thankfully found Parent Support Link. It has been a blessing. My husband has, sadly, passed away but I continue to get support from Steve @ Totton with him personally & also attending the monthly group meetings. It’s been my salvation. Wonderful,

Thank you so much for sharing your story. I’m deeply sorry for the loss of your husband, that must have been an incredibly difficult time for you and ongoing. It means a lot to hear how challenging things were when your son became so dependent, and how isolated you both felt. I’m truly glad that PSL was there when you needed it and that Steve and the Totton group have continued to offer you support, comfort, and connection.

Your resilience and openness are inspiring, and it’s wonderful to hear that the group has become such an important source of strength for you. Please know that you’re not alone, and your journey reminds others that support is out there and healing is possible.
