"My Son's appointment with a Consultant"

My son and myself as his Mum attended a recent appointment with a Consultant we had never seen before in all his years of attending appointments.

We can honestly say it is the first time we felt listened to and that there was a plan to make his illness better after years of battling on with being told that just unlucky or we can't do anything about that.

Dr Mowat was so caring and spoke very positively and actually seemed compassionate and enthusiastic about what he and the team can offer. 

We left for the first time feeling listened to and that no you don't have to just live with it!

The other Consultant from the team, Rebecca, also spoke to my son on the telephone and my son said she was lovely and explained the plan for the treatment going forward.

Thank you both from my son and a very happy Mum, I believe other staff can take example of how you treat your patients.
