I had a laryngectomy operation earlier this year and the care I have received from both the ENT team at Glasgow Royal/QUEH and the Speech and Language team has been incredible.
They have made my journey so far so much less daunting and their care and attention to patients is heartwarming and makes attending appointments something to look forward to rather than something to dread. They are amazing people and do a fantastic job.
I have so much confidence in my care routines because they have made procedures so easy to follow, emphasising the importance of particular activities and teaching the connotations of not doing them in such a way that makes it easy to adapt daily routines to look after myself to the best ability I can.
I cannot thank them enough
