"You shine like the brightest star"

My mum was recently diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, I felt lost, alone, frightened and overwhelmed with how I could cope and support her, also so sad that my mum was going to have to face this cruel disease. Admiral nurses were the first people I spoke to, words cannot say how amazing they are. True professionals, such care, understanding and empathy was shown.

Their knowledge on next steps, what to do as a carer, and how to help my loved one was comforting and insightful to me at this difficult time, reassuring me that I can cope and there is help out there to all involved. Heather and Nikki have been amazing, two experienced members of staff, who have given me courage to face what comes next. Well done, the NHS takes such a battering , you guys shine like the brightest star. Thank you so much.
