"Excellent nursing care"

About: University Hospital Monklands / Medicine for the Older Adult (wards 20 - 22)

(as a relative),

My dad was in Wd22 University Monklands with ongoing delirium and an infection.  My dad needed help with most of his daily activities due to his confusion and tiredness. The staff on Wd22 were amazing. The nursing care my dad received was outstanding, compassionate and so caring.  I would like to thank all staff on the ward, including staff taking meal orders who took the time for my dad's decisions and choices with understanding and care. Thank you so much for making a difficult time as a family a little easier.

Dear Poppy123!£

Thank you so much for taking the time to provide such positive feedback on your Dad's care in Ward 22 at University Hospital Monklands, which I will be sure to immediately send on to the Senior Charge Nurse and her team. They will be delighted to know that you found their care to be outstanding, compassionate and caring.

We understand what a difficult and worrying time it can be for patients and their families when they are admitted to hospital, so the team in Ward 22 will be pleased to hear that they were able make that time a little easier for you.

With all best wishes

Nichola
