"Having this team made a huge difference"

About: Mater Hospital / Maternity care Royal Jubilee Maternity services / Continuity of Midwifery Carer Service

(as a service user),

Sarah was my midwife for my pregnancy. I cannot describe the difference being supported through my pregnancy by the CoMC meant.

I didn’t have an easy time. I had a difficult pregnancy, infections, hospitals admission, breech baby, section, baby was hospitalised at a week old and my wound was slow to heal, all of these things people tell me were “tough times” but honestly having the CoMC team made a huge difference especially during baby's admission, they were a friendly and familiar face, reassuring, supportive and personable.

Both Sarah and Aimee were amazing, I really hope I’ll be lucky enough to have access to the CoMC team during my next pregnancy. Ive saved the CoMC teams number and will be ready to dial, if we are blessed with a second baby! I cannot thank the team enough, just amazing.

Hello Firsttimemum,

Thank you for taking the time to leave such lovely feedback. It means a lot to hear the positive experiences that the woman experience under the care of the Continuity of Midwifery team.

I will pass on your kind words to Sarah and Aimee.

Many thanks

Emma
