"Cancelled referral and long wait"

I have had a prolapse of bladders for years, years ago was told I was to young for the operation, anyway couple years ago the pressure got bad so was referred for the operation after trying the rings which did not work

Got operation in March at Wishaw General Hospital in March this year was told it was a success, was supposed to get follow up appointment in June but we are into November and still not had it, wasn’t feeling great beginning October the pressure was back with a lot of pain and cramps and up at toilet every hour of the night so got appointment with doctor she told me my prolapse had fallen I was gutted felt I went through op for nothing my symptoms have got worse.

Anyway was at nurse other day for my yearly check up I mentioned it to her she checked my records, the doctor had put a referral into Wishaw and they cancelled it, so nurse gave me gynaecologist secretary number which I phoned, explained my situation and she told me there was nothing well into new year, so I said I dint think I can wait until them, so was told to go back to my doctor which I’ve made an appointment for but it’s a couple weeks away, I’m suffering bad and I’m never away from the toilet so if I go out I always need to be near a toilet 

I know the NHS is over stretched but feel this is beyond a joke
