"WhyWeight Home Visit"

I had Marie out late September from the WhyWeight team to discuss my eight year old daughter and the difficulties she’s been facing regarding her weight. I felt quite nervous as I was unsure I was doing the right thing by my daughter by reaching out to WhyWeight and I was worried about how it would come across after a not so positive reaction from close friends. 

However, it was quickly apparent that I did not need to feel like that. Marie was amazing! She was so positive and so reassuring that I felt much more at ease and any doubt I had about if I made the correct decision in reaching out to the team quickly faded. She took the time to sit and listen to my husband and I and gave really positive, helpful advice and reassurance. There was no pressure on my daughter to meet her in that visit which I really appreciated as I was worried about how my daughter would feel. Marie was kind, understanding and a joy to sit and chat too. I look forward to our next visit.
