I'm delighted! After a lengthy wait for over a year, I finally got my appointment at NHS Lothian Audiology. I arrived on time and was seen with a few minutes by Michela (audiologist). She was very professional, checked my ears and tested my hearing. She was able to explain the procedures and the results of the tests clearly and in a pleasant manner.
I was provided with a set of new hearing aids - which to my surprise were 'bluetooth' compatible which will make a huge difference to my daily activities. They link to my phone which will be a real benefit.
I realise that the Audiology department has a limited time frame for each patient - In my case Michela conducted the session in a calm and efficient manner. Very cheerful and professional. I am really pleased - feels like Christmas!!
