"Covid and flu vaccination"

About: Fife Community Services / Immunisation Service

(as the patient),

This was not a good experience.

I dropped my husband who has mobility issues then found a parking space.

I noticed the parking spaces nearest were not open, with the barrier down.

When I commented on this at the reception desk, I was told the car park did open at 9.15 and if I’d waited until then I could have parked there.

I replied that our appointments were earlier than that, and the member of staff said I could have just come later!

Then the vaccination nurse was not kind. When I said that the flu jab was painful, they suggested it was because I didn’t relax!

I said if you were in your late 70s, had a husband with mobility issues, had difficulty parking and getting an injection in hospital, you might find it hard to  relax.

Reaction? Nothing.

If that is how the nurse was at 9.15, I’d hate to be their last patient.

I’m now seriously wondering if I’ll bother next time.
