"Compassionate Radiology Staff"

About: Royal Alexandra Hospital / Radiology

(as a relative),

My mother was very frail and was deteriorating rapidly at home. She had a CT scan organised at RAH in Paisley. We were not sure she would make it to the scan, and if she did, whether she would be able to get into the scanner. After a struggle to get her to the Xray Department she could not have wished for a more compassionate and supportive team who gave her all the time she needed and managed to get her into the scanner. It was only as a result of their excellent care that she got her diagnosis and was able to get appropriate end of life care.

Dear Staffsupporter

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience.

We are truly grateful for your kind words about the team at RAH X-ray Department.

It means a great deal to know that their compassion and support made such a difference during a very difficult time for your mother and your family.

We will make sure your feedback is passed on to the staff involved—they will be delighted to know their care had such a positive impact.

Kind Regards

Kenna Stirling
