I visited the Bromsgrove Minor Injuries Unit because I injured my hand. I was called in quickly and didn’t have to wait too long. The new unit is nice.
I saw a nurse who arranged an X-ray, and then I needed to wait for the results, which was not too long.
Then I saw a paramedic who examined the results. The good news was that no bones were broken; it was just bad bruising. She told me how to treat it: keep my hand raised and use an ice pack. She said that if it didn’t get better within two weeks, I should see my GP.
I was out within an hour, so I’m very pleased with the service.
Five-star service.
The only issue was with the machine in the car park, but otherwise everything was great.
