"Excellent care"

I presented at Ward 13 with a high temp following a hysterectomy 5 days previously.  I was seen within 10 minutes of arriving following advice from 111. 

All of the staff on the ward are incredible but I want to make particular mention to the student nurse I saw, her name was Maggie.  She was on 2 of the nightshifts when I was in and could not have been more amazing, comforting me at 4am when I was crying.  She was reassuring, gentle and just lovely.  

Amy was also amazing, she was there on my first night when everything was all a bit scary but her nature and kindness made it feel less so.  Nights are scary when you're in hospital but having lovely people like that who are willing to help you in the middle of the night makes all the difference.
