"Pregnancy and Birth experience"

About: Maternity care (wards 68, 72 &73) / Labour suite The Princess Royal Maternity Unit / Community Midwifery The Princess Royal Maternity Unit / Maternity care (wards 68, 72 &73)

(as the patient),

From the first appointment with community midwife (gorbals) to Post-natal care my experience was amazing.

My community appointments were well organized everything explained booked and explained to me for each stage.

Each scan and check up in the princess royal was so good.

The lead up to the birth when I was indecisive about the birth, I was given such great support to help make a decision (and even then when I changed my mind last minute). I developed gestational diabetes later in the pregnancy and the support and guidance was great.

Prenatal, labour and postnatal wards were such a positive experience every midwife, care assistant, Doctor and domestic staff were all amazing.

All in all I feel throughout my whole pregnancy I was so well monitored and looked after. The birth was such a positive experience and the after care from community midwives and now the health visitor has been great.

Dear junexe93,

Congratulations on the birth of your new baby. I appreciate you sharing your thoughts on Care Opinion. It's amazing to learn that you received such positive, supportive, individualised care from your first consultation through your pregnancy, delivery, and postpartum period.

Additionally, it is considerate of you to list all the disciplines that contributed to providing your care here at the PRM. I will share your feedback with them all. Thank you again.

Best Wishes,

Tracy Orr
