I was advised by GP to go SWAH Enniskillen, where after a short wait I was taken into stroke unit. I was assessed by Michael, Dr Abdalla and nursing staff. After a CT scan I was admitted to ward 5. I was closely monitored by Ryan, Natasha and other staff. The following morning I had an MRI and ultrasound. I was advised later that day that I had suffered a stroke. I was seen by a number of other health professionals who assessed my mobility. I was seen by the pharmacist and the stroke nurse. I was later discharged to home.
From my arrival at hospital until I returned home, I was treated by professional, dedicated, caring hard working staff who went above and beyond to ensure my stay was safe, comfortable and everything was fully explained at every stage.
No words could ever express my sincere thanks to everyone concerned. Healthcare at its very best, as it should be. Well done to everyone concerned only care and thank you which seems inadequate.
