"Admission to Tummel Ward"

My sister was admitted due to deterioration in her mental health.

She was anxious, agitated and frightened.

Over the six weeks my sister was assessed, evaluated and her medication was titrated, adding in various other drugs to reduce her psychosis and anxiety.

All nursing staff were helpful and approachable. Apologies for not remembering everyone's name but Craig, Karen, Anna, Becca to name a few. 

Nursing staff were very good at updating us with every visit but we were disappointed not to be updated by Doctors at any time during this admission. A Doctor did contact me for an update only a few days prior to my sister being discharged. They were excellent and answered all of my questions, even the silly ones.

Tummel Ward was very clean and friendly with lots of activities going on on a day to day basis. 

My sister improved and was discharged after 6 weeks.
