"Excellent care at the hospital"

About: Radiology / CT Scanning University Hospital Monklands / Ambulatory Care University Hospital Monklands / Emergency Department

(as the patient),

After attending a GP appointment for an episode of amnesia, which had resolved, I was sent to A&E at UHM to be checked over.

Despite a very busy waiting room I was seen fairly quickly by a nurse then a consultant Dr Teece. I was shown round to MACU where I had some blood work done prior to getting a CT head scan.

Everyone I met was lovely from A&E, MACU and Radiology and I was kept informed throughout. Luckily the scan was clear and I was able to go home. Even although the staff were all rushed off their feet, I felt they all did a fantastic job. Thank you.

Hi, thank you so much for providing feedback of your recent experience attending UHM. I'm so pleased to hear that you received great care from the teams you met, and that they were able to reassure you at what would have no doubt been an anxious time. I will make sure your lovely comments are passed on to all teams involved, and I know they will very much appreciate receiving these.

Hope you are now feeling much better.

Best wishes

Angela
