I attended maternity triage for the first time in this pregnancy at almost 17 weeks. This is the furthest I’ve made it and have had 3 miscarriages in the last year.
The staff were all amazing, from the clerk that booked me in, to the CSW that took my bloods, to the midwives that assessed me on the phone and in person (sorry I can’t remember your names!!) and also Dr Ali who assessed me afterwards.
Everyone was kind, caring and professional and Dr Ali in particular was warm and really acknowledged my past losses and did everything he could to reassure me when I began to be tearful thinking history was repeating itself.
I left feeling like my concerns were heard and that I was reassured as much as possible that everything was ok and told I could phone/reattend at any point if things got worse.
Thank you so much guys! You guys are brilliant.
