I was in Pilgrim hospital. 2 nurses couldn't get my blood, a doctor was sent in. They came with dopler machine used it on the left arm, didn't bother on the right arm and went straight in, said will be deep. When the needle went in all of a sudden I had like electric shock down my arm and hand to thumb, they commented that it may have touched a nerve and that it would be ok, that they had the blood and shall they carry on. I said please hurry.
When they needle was taken out said again it will be ok and left . Since then I have had pain in my thumb and hand like pins and needles, very uncomfortable. What has been done to me ...never ever have I had bloods taken before and had it touch a nerve.
