"A beautiful birth experience"

A year ago I went to Bassetlaw to be induced, I had a few midwives but the one who was there for the last part of my labour and the birth of my beautiful daughter was named Abbey, she was a lovely young lady. There was also a lovely doctor in my birth. My baby’s heart rate started dropping and the higher up consultants wanted to take me to theatre but Abbey and the doctor in the room knew she was crowning and knew she would be out before they could get me to theatre, they also knew I really didn’t want to go down. Her heart rate was coming back up fine but consultants still wanted to take me, however the doctor helped me sign the forms while Abbey was helping to guide me to push and by the time I finished the form my daughter was born. She was healthy came out crying so loud no issue. The doctor in the room and Abbey were so over the moon, there was another midwife in there too but I can’t remember her name as my adrenaline was so high but she was also lovely. Abbey stitched me up and I didn’t even feel it she was so gentle.

It was a beautiful birth experience and Abbey was so happy about my little girls name which I had already chosen months before, it was a complete coincidence that it was the same. Anyway it was my daughter's birthday recently and I would love to thank the people in the room that day, you all believed in me and knew everything would be fine just like I did too. Thank you so much.
