"Listened and offered help which I desperately needed"

About: South Eastern Health & Social Care Trust / Post Covid Syndrome Service

(as a service user),

Covid Syndrome Clinc Lagan Valley Hosp.

I had Covid when it first hit, March 2020. I was diagnosed with Long Covid, did a few Zoom meetings and had physio.

Went back to work after 10 months off, less hours, but never fully recovered.

Christmas 2024 had a full Crash, vertigo, nausea, sore ears (for no apparent reason), blurred vision, hoarse voice and could barely walk was so exhausted. By the time I was seen at the Covid Clinic again I felt so low, constantly exhausted, felt like no one believed, crying lots. Tina listened and offered help which I desperately needed.

Thanks so much!!

Dear Trishaqeo

Thank you very much for sharing your recent experience of the Post Covid Syndrome Service. I am delighted that you received help that you required and were listened to.

Your experience has been shared with all the staff and is greatly appreciated. Hopefully your care opinion story will also provide hope to others living with Post Covid Syndrome that help and support remains available.

The waiting time feedback is valued and is something we are working to improve.

All the best for the future

Best wishes

Jane
