"They were all very understanding"

About: NHS 24 / Breathing Space (Phoneline)

(as a service user),

I have called breathing space a number of times over the past few months when I had no where else to turn (was dealing with the stress of moving house as well as my parents divorcing after 40 years) and found it a brilliant resource every time. I think I got a different person each time, but they were all very understanding and gave me space to talk about how I was feeling as well as prompts on how I could reframe my thoughts and manage my emotions. I am so grateful that this phone line exists, and know that if I ever need a sympathetic ear it is there for me.

I am sorry to learn of the challenges you have been experiencing over the past few months, I understand this must have been a very difficult time.

I'm so pleased to hear that you have received the support you required upon contacting Breathing Space. It’s great to hear that you find it such a brilliant resource and that all of the staff members you have spoken with have been so understanding.
