"Excellent process but inconvenient arragement"

About: Fife Community Services / Immunisation Service

(as the patient),

The actual vaccination process was excellent - speedy and efficient. Helpful and pleasant staff.

However, the allocation of appointments was not at all well done. We are a couple, living at the same address but were given appointments seven and a half weeks apart. This was a change from all previous occasions when we had appointments on the same day at roughly the same time. The new arrangement is inconvenient and is surely not 'green'.

Surely a computer should be able to be programmed to do this again in future.

Good afternoon cheetahdd77

Thank you for taking the time to share your recent experience with the Immunisation Service

I am delighted to hear that the vaccination itself was a quick and efficient process for you. I will ensure this is shared with the teams, as this is what they strive for day to day.

As we do not undertake the appointing I have taken the liberty of passing on your concerns to the National Scheduling department. If you would like a response directly from them can you please make contact with myself at karen.nolan@nhs.scot

Many thanks
