About: Royal Alexandra Hospital / Day Surgery Unit

(as the patient),

I was in for a hernia repair in the day surgery unit at the Royal Alexandra Hospital, Paisley and all the staff were outstanding and attentive despite being very busy with no request a problem. Not only was this the case in the ward but also in the theatres.

After many hospital stays through the years, based on what I saw there is really nothing these members of staff would have to do to improve the care you receive. It is only right I think that I mention all the staff I came across as a special thank you to all of them.

Surgical Team: Miss McColl & Adrian. (top class)

Nursing Staff: Carol-Anne, Nisha, Stewart, Shini,  Leanne amongst others thanks guys. ( a credit to their profession)

Anaesthetic Team: Phil & Catriona (thanks for the music)

ODP Theatre: Jennifer and all the other theatre staff I did not meet in person.

All of the above deserve a medal for doing such a sterling job, especially on a Monday. I can never thank you enough.

Your kind words are a testament to the dedication, compassion, and teamwork our staff strive to deliver every day.

We will make sure that your thanks are passed on to everyone you mentioned, including Miss McColl, Adrian, Carol-Anne, Nisha, Stewart, Shini, Leanne, Phil, Catriona, Jennifer, and all the theatre staff behind the scenes. It means so much to the team to be recognised, especially in such a personal and detailed way — and yes, doing it all on a Monday makes it even more impressive!
