Saw GP registrar, had been having issue with my right ear for some weeks,, which has been treated appropriately, ear swabs, appropriate topical antibiotics and steroid for infected and inflamed otitis externa. However still have pain but now also hearing loss, GP registrar informed me tympanic membrane cloudy. ENT registrar was contacted, advised oral antibiotics and that I would be contact in an hour. I had only just got home from the GP surgery when the phone rang, it was the ENT doctor, briefly discussed my symptoms, reiterated advice re oral antibiotics and topical antibiotics and have an appointment with a nurse in ENT clinic later this week. Listened, advised and responded. GP practice were also great, GP registrar read back on notes, asked questions, listened, involved me in treatment discussions. Thank you
