"complete miscarriage at six weeks"

About: Countess Of Chester Hospital / Gynaecology

(as the patient),

Bleeding at six weeks; contacted gynae ward direct (previous experience so had the number) and was booked in for a viability scan at EPU. EPU confirmed mc complete although HCG levels still showing pregnant. Treated with kindness and humanity throughout.

EPU is part of gynae, not antenatal, although in the Women's and Children's Building, so you do have to walk past newborns and big bumps to get to the unit but aren't forced to sit in the same waiting room as happily and safely pregnant women.
