"From the minute they entered they made us all feel at ease"

About: Scottish Ambulance Service

(as a service user),

I would like to thank ambulance Crew Vicki and Jamie for their kind, caring, compassionate approach to my dad and the wider family on his most recent admission to monklands.

From the minute they entered the house they made us all feel at ease during a truly stressful situation.

We had a long day in A&E and whilst there Vicki and Jamie were there with other patients and took the time to say hi and ask how we were doing.

Please extend our thanks and appreciation to them both.

Dear Curly78,

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. I’m responding on behalf of the Scottish Ambulance Service.

I’m very sorry to hear that this was a stressful situation for your family but I'm delighted to hear that this was eased by the kind and compassionate care of Vicki and Jamie. Your comments about their approach, from the moment they arrived at your home to their continued support in A&E are deeply appreciated and reflect the values we strive to uphold.

If you’re happy to share the date, time and address of the call out, please email us at sas.feedback@nhs.scot and include your Care Opinion username. This will help us match your story with the crew and ensure your message of thanks reaches them directly.

Thank you again for your thoughtful feedback.

Warm wishes,

Marie
