I was referred to physio with severe back pain, reduced balance and reduced mobility along with lots of falls. From there I was referred to spinal clinic to rule out anything sinister going on.
I met Angie physiotherapist at my 1st appointment. She greeted me with a lovely smile then actually listened to my story and what was going on with me. Angie encouraged me not to give up, and after a thorough examination she came up with a plan of exercises to help me to get back to where I needed to be. Over the next 9 months I attended physio from twice weekly to weekly to monthly and have just recently been discharged. I was also assisted along the way with a physio assistant called Leanna.
I was found to have a dropped foot and referred on for a foot splint which has helped so much. At the beginning of my journey I never thought I could get back to my work and be a functioning member of society again.
Angie throughout my time attending continually encouraged praised and looked forward with me to achieve my dream of getting back to work.
Angie is a credit to the physio department and I cannot praise her enough for helping me through this journey which has been difficult and physically/emotionally draining.
Angie is a brilliant physio and her gentle kind manner was just uplifting. I never felt like a burden when seeing her. Leanna went off to do her physio training and I want to say how good she was as well and really supported me and guided me at the beginning of my journey.
"Excellent physiotherapy"
