"Not impressed"

About: North Devon District Hospital / Ophthalmology

(as the patient),

After an eye appointment in May, received a letter in July, over 2 months later, saying I was to continue with the same eye drops; but no one had told me I needed eye drops. Not impressed, and still no idea if I need them as no one passed it on.

Dear bravonz88,

I am sorry to hear that your clinic letter was so delayed. Our department usually has a 2 - 3 day turnaround. Unfortunately as feedback is anonymous, I am unable to look up your particular case. If you are unsure about medication/eye drops that you need to take, please get in touch with the ophthalmology secretaries who, once they have your details, can check with the doctor that saw you to confirm what you need to be taking, if anything.
