"The care that my father received was first class"

About: Mater Hospital / Macular Unit

(as a relative),

I attended the macular clinic with my father for his first visit, the care he received was second to none. From the assessment nurse to getting his scans done (sorry cannot remember the names of the female nurse and gentleman). Every staff member went above and beyond to make my father feel comfortable. A special thanks to doctor Gupta and nurse Peter who were absolutely fantastic explaining everything to us. The care that my father received was first class we are so lucky to have this service for people suffering from macular degeneration. Thank you so much to everyone who works at this clinic.

Dear Mary278,

Thank you so much for your kind and thoughtful feedback. We are truly delighted to hear that your father received such high-quality care during his visit to our macular clinic.

Our team always strives to provide compassionate and reassuring support to patients and their families, therefore it is heartening to know that their efforts made a positive difference for both of you.

We will make sure to pass on your appreciation to Mr. Gupta, Peter and the rest of the team involved in your father's care.

Wishing your father all the very best with his ongoing treatment.

Warm regards,

Laura.
