I received my antenatal care for my 2nd child with the community midwives team and had an amazing experience. So much better than the traditional midwifery led service as measurements were done by the same midwife every time which meant I avoided unnecessary scans/appointments and all my appointments were made with me to ensure they suited my work schedule.
Sarah was wonderful throughout and although baby came early (and at home) she was there to welcome me to the postnatal ward, sorted everything out and got me home asap after a lovely quiet stay in MLU. I also received reflexology for back pain in my 2nd trimester from Vicky which was incredible and an amazing service to have on the NHS! They always put me at ease and promoted natural birth/hypnobirthing techniques which I believe ultimately led to me having a very calm and easy delivery at home (although unplanned!).
