"The care that I received was world class"

I cut my leg badly while on holiday abroad & received treatment at the local hospital then the medical centre, where they changed the dressing every 2 days. After 4 weeks the situation worsened when the wound which was showing no sign of healing became infected. 

While abroad I made an appointment with the treatment room via my surgery. I met with nurse Kayleigh who examined my wound and was concerned that poor blood circulation in my leg needed investigation and asked her colleague Kendra to see the wound as the circulation problem would contribute to the slow healing process.

Kendra is the local expert nurse regarding the Doppler Test and arranged an urgent appointment in the treatment room at Rutherglen health centre. The test went well which allowed Kendra to put on a compression dressing to speed up the healing process. 

The care that I received was world class, I will always appreciate the proactive actions of both Kayleigh & Kendra. I have another appointment with Kendra coming up to check progress & change the dressing.
