"Such amazing people working at these hospitals"

I went for a check of my concerns.  I had a vaginal ultrascan which showed i needed a biopsy of my womb.  My consultant was very thorough and very clear about what the procedure would be however and told me i was always in control if i felt i needed the procedure to stop if it was too painful.  

The nurses were all amazing trying to keep me calm throughout however my body did not respond well when the biopsy was carried out and caused me to go into trauma.  My blood pressure reduced to 87 and my heart rate was around 50.  The team took action immediately they thought there was an issue,  I was in so much pain and it was getting worse.  They called the trauma team who were there very quickly and after getting an update from the consultant they took action to remedy my situation.  They did every check necessary and eventually got my blood pressure back on track.  They checked by heart too and got me back to normal.  

I felt completely out of it and when i came round and the pain subsided felt like i'd dreamt the whole thing.  I cannot thank the staff enough for their professional approach, making me feel relaxed where they could and the after care.  I am so grateful we have such amazing people working at these hospitals!  Thanks again.  I am now fully relaxed at home.
